Holiday Photo Cards, Stress?

I lucked out this year. We needed to get a family photograph taken this summer and I was able to use one of them for our holiday Christmas cards. For being something pretty low on the list of important things in life, I allow it to take up more space in my brain that the process deserves. The fact is that my own priorities switch from my family’s cards to my customers as the holidays get closer. If my cards aren’t finished by Thanksgiving, it’s not going to happen.

There are all kinds of things we could do, but don’t to make getting the perfect family photo easier. Things like, we could take pictures all year long and get a good one while we have some color on our cheeks and spring in our step with the good weather. We could invite a friend over to snap some shots of the family during Thanksgiving, while the whole family is in town. Since most of us have iPhones in our back pockets, is there any reason we can’t take a lot of photos everywhere we go?

So here are some site with tips, if you haven’t taken your holiday photo yet. I think the best tip is to not let it get the best of you.
